Have you ever been to Naples?

There is a proverb: Vedi Napoli e poi muori. See Naples and then die. It’s about completeness, about meeting something so rich that makes Naples powerful. Let me share a special anecdote from my recent trip.

The legend of the Monaciello.

Naples was built with an underground system of water reservoirs, allowing the city to access fresh drinking water long before modern infrastructure. A man would move beneath the city, entering and exiting houses through wells, checking and cleaning the water systems. He wore a garment that resembled a monk’s robe, and over time he became known as the Monaciello.

His role allowed him to appear and disappear without being seen, quietly present across different spaces.

Over time, stories began to circulate. Unexpected fortunes, small gifts, unexplained events, and even more personal consequences were attributed to his presence. The figure transformed into a symbol of luck, abundance, and mystery.

What started as a function became a true story with a valid meaning, short: Relevance!

It made me think about something I often say: marketing is a truth told well. The foundation is always real. A brand, a product, a service, a behavior. What changes is how it is cultivated, shared, and kept over time.
At Capo d’Ena we look for your truth and why it matters.
